StudioCMS's Adobe Lightroom Plug-in

The StudioCMS Lightroom Plug-in makes it easy to upload your photos directly from Lightroom to StudioCMS. Follow the steps below to get started.

Adding the Plug-in to Lightroom

Adding the StudioCMS plug-in to Lightroom requires a few simple steps and only needs to be done once. To add the plug-in:

  1. Download the plug-in from here.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file to unzip it.
  3. Move the extracted studiocms.lrplugin file to your desired storage location. This can be anywhere on your computer, as long as the file is not deleted.
  4. In Lightroom, click File > Plug-in Manager to open the Plug-in Manager window.
  5. Near the bottom left of the Plug-in Manager window, click the Add button.
  6. Locate the studiocms.lrplugin file from step 3 and then click Add Plug-in or Select Folder, depending on whether you are using macOS or Windows.
  7. Confirm that the Plug-in Manager window now lists StudioCMS in the plug-ins list on the left and that the plug-in status is Installed and running.

Exporting to StudioCMS with the StudioCMS Plug-in

Once you have installed the StudioCMS plug-in, you can use the Lightroom Export window to upload photos directly to StudioCMS. To do so:

  1. Prepare the photos you would like to export according to your usual workflow.
  2. Click File > Export to open the Export window.
  3. At the top of the Export window, change the Export To dropdown menu to StudioCMS.
  4. In the first section of the Export window, enter your StudioCMS account email and password to log in. If successful, the Account Status should show Connected.
  5. If you would like to upload your photos to a gallery, choose the gallery from the options in the Gallery dropdown.
  6. Ensure the rest of the Export settings are set as desired, then click Export to upload your photos to StudioCMS.

Once the export is complete, you may need to refresh your browser to see the newly uploaded photos.
